Named for Funkadelic’s (aka Parliament/P Funk’s) classic 1973 album “Cosmic Slop,” the Cosmic Slop Rock Festival is an intentionally multi-cultured rock festival.
Founded in 2011 by Deekah Rox and a group of fellow black Detroit musicians, the Cosmic Slop Rock Festival has become known as one of the few places for Black, Hispanic, Middle Eastern and Native Rockers from across the U.S. to join together and celebrate the colorful roots of the music they love.
We will celebrate 25 years of love , devotion, and commitment of a wonder couple in Flint by sharing the unity of sound and magic. Music starts at 2
So we'll be playing at the Vol. 3 for the Kickback series representing of what constitutes as an alternative. YESSSSS! We are the Punky Brewster (name of the event) of music! where all of the punk, the trippy, and the weird, wrapped up in one. For music's sake, dance like no one is watching. There will be food and drink available for purchase.

Lu Fuki and Divine Providence, featuring Mike Monford, are hosting this special event for the release of their first album, titled Inner Horizons. Sophiyah E. will open for the band, followed by two high energy sets by Lu Fuki and Divine Providence.
Come, come whoever you are.. and join us for Stories of the Spirit: a Journey of Creativity & Spirituality on April 22nd at Kent State. This will be an evening exploring the intersection of creativity and spirituality through the story telling and performances of very special guest artists. Tazeen and LuFuki will present their process of music and how it relates to their spiritual experiences.
Members of Divine Providence will join Arts Dearborn, to celebration the rich cultural life that thrives in the community and encourages all to “look, listen, learn.”
Divine Providence's own, Tazeen and LuFuki will open up the evening for the Midnight Gold band with an acoustic set.
