LuFuki and Divine Providence is a creative improvised music collective that combines elements of classical, rock, “jazz,” and world music, each member bringing their unique experiences and interpretations that bring emotion and spontaneity for each performance. The goal of the group is to connect the hearts through sound and to promote solidarity, freedom, and social action by the use of sound.

tazeen & lufuki

Tazeen & LuFuki are a musical and life duo that formed Divine Providence but also continue to create music as an acoustic duo, focuses on love, light, and spirit. The two have an album together, entitled, Love & Light, as well as other acoustic bands. Beyond music, Tazeen & LuFuki host workshops and educational classes on the spirituality of sound and artistry and curate cultural spaces that fuse music and spirituality. They are the co-founders of the venue, Sanctuary of Sound, in Detroit.

Astro mystic sama ensemble

Astro Mystic Sama Ensemble is a collective founded by LuFuki and Osman Khan. The genre is a cross section of Afro/Indo, Islamo, Futuristic themes that create a metaphysical synergy using sound, experimentation, and improvisation.

AUTOPHYSIOPSYCHIC MILLENNIUM

Autophysiopsychic Millennium is a creative research music collective that explores the great methods and instructions Dr. Yusef Lateef on how to perform and live Autophysiopsychic Music. This is a collaboration between LuFuki, Angel Bat Dawid, and several artists from Detroit and Chicago. This collective will be at Carnegie Hall on February 24th, 2022.
